Meet The Owner

Hi! I’m Howard, the owner of Salty Paws serving the North Metro Georgia communities of Canton, Woodstock, Alpharetta, Roswell, Milton, and Cumming.

Before becoming an entrepreneur, I spent 23 years in corporate America, including serving as a Chief Financial Officer for a technology company. After many years in the corporate world, I decided to pursue my passion for building businesses and creating memorable experiences for people.

That journey led me to start The RV Loft in Marietta and eventually to Salty Paws — a business that perfectly combines community, fun, and a love for dogs.

Living in North Metro Georgia, I’ve always appreciated the strong sense of community that exists here. From neighborhood gatherings and festivals to dog parks and local events, it’s clear that people here love spending time with their families and their dogs.

That’s what makes Salty Paws so special. Our colorful mobile dog ice cream truck brings dog-friendly frozen treats directly to neighborhoods, parks, festivals, dog shows, breweries, and community events throughout the area. There’s nothing better than seeing a dog’s excitement when they realize the ice cream truck is just for them and watching their tails wag the entire time.

And of course, every great dog business needs mascots. Our official Salty Paws taste testers are Dolly Barkin and Porter Wagginer. They take their jobs very seriously and are always happy to help sample new treats and greet new friends. When the Salty Paws truck rolls into the neighborhood, there’s a good chance Dolly and Porter aren’t far behind making sure every pup gets their fair share of treats.

My goal is simple — to create fun moments for dogs and their humans while bringing something unique and memorable to local events and neighborhoods across North Metro Georgia.
